Kevin Campbell is excited about the impending return of Richarlison after the Everton star’s recent injury-enforced absence.

However, the Brazilian looks to be making strides in his attempts to return to fitness, with Twitter user Dan Donachie posting a clip of the forward working out at Finch Farm earlier this week, while the player himself also took to his personal Instagram stories to highlight the work he is doing behind the scenes.

Ex-Blues centre-forward Campbell is enthused about Richarlison’s eventual return as he regards him as a crucial element of this new-look Rafa Benitez side that is aiming to push up the Premier League table.

“Hopefully he’s not too far away, he’s one of the match-winners of the team,” Campbell told Goodison News.

“Fair enough you play against Norwich City and he’s not there and you can get over the line, but Richarlison needs to be back as quickly as possible.

“Hopefully, after the international break, he can get back in because if Everton are going to push this season, they need him.”

In other Everton news, this Red Devils star could miss Saturday’s clash after a Friday fitness update.
