Shaun Wright-Phillips loved Andros Townsend celebration v Man Utd
Everton attacker Andros Townsend scored an equaliser against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon and celebrated in some fashion.
The Toffees summer signing emulated Cristiano Ronaldo while enjoying his goal with the fans who made the trip from Merseyside.
His celebration was certainly appreciated by the Everton supporters and former Manchester City player and Sky Sports pundit, Shaun Wright-Phillips was also pleased by it.

Speaking on Premier League Productions’ weekend recap, he said, “Fantastic celebration. I loved it. But really, he seems to be a man in form.
“He’s really playing with that kind of confidence where everything he strikes is hitting the goal.”
What a signing
Townsend arrived at Everton with the reputation of being a Newcastle and Crystal Palace reject.
There weren’t too many excited by Rafa Benitez’s appointment either and saw Benitez as an underwhelming signing from an underwhelming manager.
To be fair to the Spaniard, he did not have funds available to splurge in the market.

He opted to go for a free transfer as Townsend was someone he had worked with previously and one he knew would fit perfectly into his system at the club.
Thus far, his decision to bring the English winger has paid off and we’re absolutely loving watching this side play.
They seem to be playing with real confidence and understanding of each other’s roles and it’s paying off with valuable points on the table.
