Everton looking at January to complete business, two areas lacking
Everton are already eyeing the January transfer window to complete business, according to Phil Kirkbride.
The reliable journalist believes that the Toffees are seriously lacking in depth at right-back and in central midfield under Rafa Benitez.
With James Rodriguez and Moise Kean leaving Goodison Park in the summer, Marcel Brands is ready to be unleashed in the coming window.
Writing for the Liverpool Echo this morning, Kirkbride shared his verdict ahead of the January window next year.
“But in terms of positions and players, Everton still need greater strength in depth in central midfield as well as a right-back to provide competition for Seamus Coleman,” he wrote.
“The club are looking to do business in the January transfer window so they may find solutions there.”

Despite looking as though we are lacking in numerous areas of the squad, Benitez is bringing out the best in everyone.
The Toffees pushed Manchester United all the way in that recent 1-1 draw, even though the likes of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were missing.
Should Benitez managed to continue this form until January, there will be big pressure for funds to come from Farhad Moshiri.
James and Kean leaving eases the worry of the Financial Fair Play rules, and it should unleash us in the market.
The starting XI is settled and performing well above expectation, so sorting out this squad depth should be the priority.
Saying that may make big-money signings unlikely, but smart additions such has Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray could be the way to go.
