Everton want to sign Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge

Everton are in the hunt to sign Club Brugge forward Charles De Ketelaere, according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.

The website reports that the Toffees, as well as West Ham, Napoli and AC Milan, want to sign the 20-year-old from Brugge but there is no mention on if they want him in January or next summer.

De Ketelaere has made 13 appearances this season in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists in all competitions, and now it seems as if other clubs are starting to take notice.

The Toffees want De Ketelaere.

Now that James Rodriguez has departed Goodison Park, you would think that there is space for another forward to join the Toffees.

De Ketelaere is a new name and is very young, but he has proven himself to be a good player for a side in the Champions League this season.

Last season, he scored five goals and provided eight assists, and it seems as if he has carried that form into this campaign as well, and it will be intriguing to see if the Toffees make a move for him in January.

However, they could leave him for the full season and see how he ends the campaign before making a move for him in the summer window.

Either way, though, he could be a good addition and has been described as “sublime” by Eleven Sports in the past.

So, this could be a transfer for Toffees fans to keep an eye on as the January window opens.

He might also just be an interesting player to watch for the rest of the season as we wait and see if the Toffees are actually interested.

In other Everton news, the Toffees are prepared to match the asking price for one player.
