Kevin Campbell: Everton still need another winger in transfer window
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has insisted that Everton still need to bring in another winger in the upcoming transfer window.
Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray have both shined since arriving for cheap in the summer, but Rafa Benitez has been linked with more attacking moves.
Campbell believes with the potential loss of form and injuries means that Marcel Brands may have to be busy yet again.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “I think it is still needed.
“There is loss of form, injuries, you’re battling on multiple fronts at times – you want to be able to freshen things up and when you do make a change, the team is just as strong, that is the key.
“You need squads now, Everton have suffered being up there and a few injuries and they’ve dropped.”

Needed?
The start of this season have proved that many areas still need addressing.
Injuries to the likes of Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Alex Iwobi have caused problems in recent weeks, but others have stepped up.
Townsend and Gray have been sensational, but they won’t be able to do it every single week if these problems continue.
Another new face coming in would be brilliant business, and this may well be something that Brands will have on his list ahead of January.
