Everton fans have delivered their reaction after contact was reportedly made over Arsenal centre-forward Alexandre Lacazette.
French news outlet Jeunes Footeux claimed earlier this week that the Blues are “closely following” the 30-year-old’s situation at the Emirates Stadium, with the 16-cap French international out of contract next June.
However, it is reported that Lacazette will have to lower his financial requirements in order for an agreement to be found.

We asked our panel of Super Fans for their thoughts on a potential transfer to Goodison Park.
Here’s what they had to say, with a couple suggesting a swap for Blues attacker Alex Iwobi…

On the whole, it was a pretty positive response from Blues.
Indeed, just hours after the report was published and the question was posed as to whether Everton should sign him, Lacazette scored a last-gasp equaliser for Arsenal in a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.
The French forward was only making his third Premier League appearance of the season as he came off the bench to rescue the Gunners against the Eagles.
It was a typical Lacazette goal, a poacher’s effort from well inside the penalty area.
But could the goal helpt to resuscitate his career in north London? It’s unlikely, and he looks certain to leave Arsenal in 2022.
In other Everton news, Adrian Durham has blasted this big-money Blues player and issued a claim on his wages.
