Everton man Cenk Tosun could be involved against Wolves

Forgotten Everton man Cenk Tosun could be involved against Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight after he dropped a hint on social media.

The 30-year-old posted a video on his Instagram story, suggesting that Rafael Benitez is prepared to bring him in from the cold to play against Wolves at Molineux.

The image follows on from pictures from the club over the weekend showing Tosun in training ahead of the big game tonight.

The Toffees are without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Salomon Rondon is yet to score a goal since joining the Toffees on transfer deadline day.

Benitez does have younger options in Ellis Simms and Lewis Dobbin, but it appears as if the Spaniard could go down a different route and include Tosun in his squad.

The Turkish international hasn’t played a single minute this season, but he could be handed the chance to become a hero at Molineux.

You would expect Rondon to start, but if Tosun is on the bench, then Benitez has an option to use a relatively proven goalscorer.

However, you would imagine that many Evertonians would rather see the likes of Dobbin or Simms play.

However, it does appear as if Tosun is going to be handed another first-team chance.

Now, it remains to be seen if he can resurrect his career at Goodison Park or if he can use this as an opportunity to put himself in the shop window.

Either way, it appears as if the 30-year-old, though, could be involved tonight in the Premier League as the Toffees look to bounce back from two defeats in a row.
