Conor Coady: Rafa Benitez is a world class manager
Wolves defender Conor Coady labelled Rafa Benitez a world class manager after his side beat Everton 2-1 on Monday night.
The Toffees’ poor run of form continued with yet another defeat in the Premier League.
After the game, Coady was interviewed on Sky Sports, and he waxed lyrical of the Spaniard before praising his side’s performance.

He said, “They’re a top team with a world class manager. So we had to be good to win today.”
Facts spoken
Despite some of the animosity surrounding Benitez’s appointment, it cannot be denied that he truly is a top manager.
He’s managed some of the biggest clubs in the world and won the biggest trophies.
His CV speaks for itself and despite his recent Premier League stint not resulting in any silverware, he wasn’t handed too much at Newcastle where he could’ve taken the club to the next level.
At Everton, his first summer has been appalling and none of the fault for it must be attributed to him.

Hopefully, the next windows help the Spaniard build this squad in his identity as we believe he’s the right man to take this club forward.
Farhad Moshiri opted to go against the wishes of most Evertonians but he has the chance to silence his critics and back Benitez to recruit quality players.
