Sarvar Ismailov leaves Everton just months after joining board
Everton have confirmed via Companies House that director Sarvar Ismailov has left the board at Goodison Park.
A document, that was uploaded to the Companies House website on Tuesday, confirms Ismailov’s termination just months after he joined the Blues’ board in July.
According to BBC Sport journalist Alistair Magowan, Ismailov “has stepped down from his position on the club’s board for personal and health reasons”.

All the best, Sarvar
Although we haven’t really seen anything of Ismailov during his time on the Everton board, we’re wishing him all the best considering the reasons as to why he’s left.
He’s the nephew of Alisher Usmanov, who would have likely wanted to increase his influence at Goodison by seeing Ismailov join the board.

It’ll be interesting to see whether he’s replaced by someone else who’s close to Usmanov or due to the reasons behind Ismailov’s exit, his departure is respected and his position is left for the time being.
Everton have undergone a lot of change lately.
Rafa Benitez’s appointment as manager initially started off quite well but recent results have seen the critics and the doubters come out of the woodwork.
We knew that as soon as there was a whiff of a bad run of form, there’d be a lot of over-the-top reaction from sections of the crowd.
Let’s just hope this all settles down soon.
