Rob Green stunned by Everton star Anthony Gordon for England U21s
Everton sensation Anthony Gordon had a night to remember on Thursday evening as England under-21s took on the Czech Republic.
The young winger was handed his debut by Lee Carsley, and he took full advantage of that at Turf Moor.
Gordon marked his debut with a goal, and it couldn’t have been easier as he slotted home into an open net from a rebound.

Rob Green was watching live on Sky Sports, and he was blown away by the impact that Gordon had on his debut.
“It’s a dream start,” he said. “It’s a brilliant start for England, and it’s an amazing start for one young man.
“England rampant in the first 10 minutes.”
Wow.
This is exactly what we want to be seeing from our players during the international break away from Finch Farm.
Rafa Benitez has given Gordon numerous chances this season, and he possibly should have been handed more.
Not many have impressed more than the versatile young star, who has taken the Premier League by storm.
Eyebrows were raised when he started at Old Trafford, and he was harshly dropped after shining in that 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
If he needed it, this was another reminder of what Gordon can do for Benitez, who has to be watching closely.
Something isn’t right in the first-team at the moment, and maybe extended spells for those such as Gordon is the way to go from now on – bring it on.
