Everton man Cenk Tosun desperate to leave
Everton man Cenk Tosun is desperate to leave Goodison Park in January, but the Toffees want a fee to allow him to go back to Besiktas.
Fotospor report that the Toffees want a guaranteed £1.56million to cover Tosun’s remaining wages with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Tosun earns £3.12million a year at Goodison Park, and though the player is desperate to leave, the Toffees won’t just let him go for nothing.

However, this figure is higher than what Tosun is set to be offered by Besiktas, so it could be a nervous wait for the Turkish international.
Tosun edging towards the exit door.
The 30-year-old seems set to return to his former club, but only if the two clubs can agree to this deal.
Tosun has been a shocking signing for the Toffees since he joined the club in January 2018 for a big fee.
It looks as if Everton aren’t going to make much back from Besiktas, which is a shame, but they really just need him off the wage bill.

Surely, the two clubs will be able to come to an agreement on Tosun’s wages because otherwise, the Toffees will be stuck with an unhappy player who hasn’t featured for the first team all season.
January is a big month for the Toffees, and getting rid of Tosun has to be high on the agenda for the club.
Hopefully, they can find a resolution, and they can move him on and save some vital wages that can be used elsewhere.
