Lewis Jones predicts result of Everton v Manchester City
Lewis Jones has predicted Manchester City to run out winners against Everton on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.
The defending champions will be looking to keep up pace with league leaders Chelsea and a win against the Toffees will certainly go a long way to assert their dominance.
Rafa Benitez’s men, on the other hand, have been on a wretched run of form and are languishing in 11th place with no wins in their last five games.

Predicting a 2-0 win for City on Sky Sports, Jones wrote, “Manchester City have shown enough vulnerability this season to make teams travel to the Etihad with a slice of hope in their bid for a result.
“However, only Aston Villa (0) have taken fewer points than Everton (2) in the last five Premier League games. Pep Guardiola’s boys should find a way through but that’s hardly telling you something extraordinary, is it?”
Bad timing
The Toffees are in a rut currently, and the last thing that they need is to face arguably the best team in Europe.
Guardiola has moulded this side perfectly in his image and they can comfortably outplay any team on their day.
Without any bias, it is hard to see Everton get a point from this one, let alone a win.

Benitez’s side started the season strongly but that seemed to be a purple patch and this looks like a true indicator as to where the squad is compared to the chasing pack.
It is imperative that the Spaniard is handed funds to strengthen in January, because only a miracle and get Everton into the top 8 with these players.
Speaking of miracles, Benitez will be needing one if he is to avoid defeat against his compatriot this weekend.
