Coleman left fuming after Allan kicked out ball in 2-0 loss v Man City
Everton right-back Seamus Coleman was unhappy with Brazilian midfielder Allan during Sunday’s 3-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
The Toffees ace decided to put the ball out of play while one of the hosts’ players was down, but it did not go down well with his skipper, according to the Liverpool Echo’s Sam Carroll.
Coleman made his feelings clear, and Allan definitely got the message as Everton could not afford to give the ball away aimlessly against such a team.

Carroll posted about the incident on his personal Twitter account during the game.
He said: “Seamus Coleman fuming with Allan for kicking the ball out while in possession with a Man City player down.
“Not quite sure why the Brazilian did it.
“Bernardo already back on his feet.”
Needless
Allan was in haste to put the ball out of play, and that would have baffled his teammates given that they were chasing the game at the time.
Man City were dominated from start to finish, though, and Everton never came close to giving them a run for their money.
An early injury to Demarai Gray complicated things for the visitors and Rafa Benitez will be gutted to see his attack lose another important player.
The Blues just cannot catch a break right now, and losing to Pep Guardiola’s side was not in any way surprising.

They would have fancied their chances if they had Abdoulaye Doucoure, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Yerry Mina on the pitch.
Nevertheless, injuries should not be an excuse for their recent woeful run, and things need to improve heading into the second half of the campaign.
Everton face Brentford next but will be without Richarlison after he picked up his fifth booking of the season against City, and that could make things tough for them.
