Everton Super Fans react to Salomon Rondon's reaction

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Everton Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Goodison News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Goodison Park.

Everton Super Fans have flocked to a post on the Goodison News Facebook page about Salomon Rondon.

Sam Carroll claimed that the 32-year-old just walked straight off the pitch after the game ended against Manchester City without clapping the away fans.

He also claimed that a few others also did the same, but he named Rondon, who was brought off the bench as a substitute on Sunday.

This has drawn a reaction from our Super Fans, who had their say.

Harsh to single Rondon out?

Since signing for the Toffees on transfer deadline day, the former Newcastle United striker has failed to score a goal for his new side.

He was brought on just after the hour mark on Sunday, and though he didn’t score or even get the chance to, his presence made things more difficult for Manchester City, who had to deal with him.

This freed Richarlison up, and the Toffees had a bit more of a foothold in the match.

However, you can see why this has annoyed many Everton fans because they pay their hard-earned money, and the least he could do would be to go over and applaud them.

Of course, others also just went straight down the tunnel, so you can’t just single him out, really.

However, the only way he will be able to redeem himself after this could be by scoring the winner next week at Brentford.

In other Everton news, Jean-Philippe Gbamin’s future could be in doubt.
