Leroy Rosenior slams Allan in Everton loss v Manchester City

Leroy Rosenior has slammed Allan for what he did in the Everton v Manchester City game on Sunday which the hosts won 3-0.

The Brazilian in the first half, while looking to clear the ball, ended up miscuing it and giving away a corner.

This led to Rosenior making a joke about whether or not he’s actually from Brazil as they’re known to be extremely technical players.

In the Premier League Analytics Show, the Sky Sports pundit said, “Is he really a Brazilian? I’ll have to look at his passport. Never seen a Brazilian do that.”

Bit strange

The way Rosenior is talking it seems that no Brazilian has ever miscued a shot or clearance in their entire career.

Being an ex-pro he should know what happens when there are two or three players surrounding you.

The pressure that Allan was put under in that situation led him to do what he thought was best and he made a mistake, which is normal as no player in the world is perfect.

If one video is taken out of context, then every player can be made to look like an amateur.

Allan, in fact, was one of the few good players on the night and we were delighted by what we saw from him.

When it comes to the majority of the team, they were clearly underwhelming and something needs to change quickly.
