Kevin Campbell: Everton proved me right v Arsenal as ‘mobile’ Richarlison shines
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Everton benefitted from Richarlison playing up front against Arsenal on Monday, according to Kevin Campbell.
Richarlison, 24, shone for the Blues as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Goodison Park with the Brazil international scoring his side’s equaliser.
Two offside VAR decisions ruled two earlier goals out for Richarlison but Campbell was blown away by the forward’s display spearheading Rafa Benitez’s attack.

“As you saw with Richarlison on Monday, he doesn’t mind the physical contact. He’s only a slight lad but he doesn’t mind the physical side of the game,” Campbell told Goodison News.
“He uses his body really well and he’s mobile. I said before the game that it may suit Everton to be more mobile at the top-end of the pitch and it proved it because Richarlison got three goals.
“Two were disallowed but then he got the equaliser so I think it suited Everton and Richarlison for them to be more mobile at the top-end of the pitch.”

Richarlison now has three goals this season after making his 10th Premier League appearance on Monday night.
The Brazilian has missed numerous matches due to injury and keeping him fit has to be a priority now after the way he played against the Gunners.
Everton ended an eight-match winless run with their victory on Monday ad going forward, Richarlison is going to be a massive part of Benitez’s squad.
In other Everton news, an ex-Premier League referee was horrified by this controversial moment in the win over Arsenal.
