View: Everton must go after Rangnick as he eyes summer Premier League jobs
Everton boss Rafa Benitez has not won a lot of fans over since taking over from Carlo Ancelotti in the summer, and his days at Goodison Park appear numbered.
Farhad Moshiri wants to back the Spaniard in the transfer windows and has recently insisted he still has his full support, but could all that change at the end of the 2021-22 season?
Everton could soon be in need of a new manager if Benitez fails to impress the board, and they could be presented with a huge chance to land one of the very best in the business.

According to Eurosport, Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick is expected to search for further managerial opportunities in the Premier League if his spell in charge of the Old Trafford outfit is not extended beyond this season.
The 63-year-old German is not hiding the fact he would like to remain in charge beyond the initial period he has signed up to, even though he will remain as a consultant to the club as they seek stability.
However, sources close to the situation have suggested that Rangnick has a renewed desire for top-level coaching as he believes he is one of the best tacticians and coaches in the game, and should the Red Devils decide to turn to another longer-term option beyond this season, then he could well open up to other chances to manage in the English top-flight.
He has not proven himself in England yet, but he is highly respected by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp – who dubbed him ‘outstanding’ – and Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel, and Everton should be keeping tabs on his situation.
Rangnick has done brilliantly well as a manager and director of football, and the Toffees need someone capable of combining both roles effectively well.

The Goodison Park outfit have employed five managers who have spent a combined £500million since Moshiri became owner in 2016, but their struggles have continued.
They need someone who has proven himself in such a similar job, and after turning both Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig from nobodies into forces to reckon with in German football, he could be the solution to Everton problems should he become available in 2022.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are plotting January loan-to-buy bid for centre-mid hailed by Jack Grealish last month.
