Anthony Gordon apologised to Everton fans after 3-1 defeat v Crystal Palace
Everton suffered a 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace on Sunday in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.
According to Liverpool Echo journalist, Adam Jones, Anthony Gordon apologised to the fans after today’s defeat.
It was a terrible performance from the visitors, but Gordon did well when he came on in the second half.

Jones wrote on Twitter that Gordon shouldn’t be the one to apologise. He looked promising when he came on, but some of the players were really disappointing. Check the video below:
Pathetic
Rafa Benitez was given strong backing by Farhad Moshiri but such performances are simply unacceptable.
The Spaniard has used injuries as an excuse so far, but he really should be doing better with the squad he has inherited.

Lucas Digne was once again sidelined, while Richarlison was taken off in the second half when his side was trailing 2-0!
Yes, Salomon Rondon did score, but Benitez should have kept Richarlison as well and used a system to integrate both of them.
The performance did improve after the break, but the first half was dreadful. They managed only 39% of possession, while there was a litany of individual errors.
The away fans once again voiced their frustration, and if this trend continues, Benitez will find it hard to keep his job at the club.
In other Everton news, Andros Townsend has heaped praise on one of his teammates.
