Newcastle want to sign Everton defender Lucas Digne
Newcastle and Leicester City are reportedly keen on signing Everton left-back Lucas Digne in the January transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the Premier League duo want to sign the France international amid his falling out with manager Rafa Benitez.
It is also understood that the Toffees have lined up Vitaliy Mykolenko as a replacement for the 28-year-old.

Set to leave?
Benitez took a bold move making it public that he wasn’t happy with Digne behind the scenes.
It’s strange how he’s managed to isolate one of the best and arguably the most creative player at the club.
Last season, when his stock was extremely high, Andy Hinchcliffe hailed the French international on Sky Sports (May 19), labelling him as “sensational”.
In a few weeks, Digne and not Benitez, looks like he’s on his way out and has a number of suitors in the Premier League looking at him.
At 28, he’s not the youngest, but he’s certainly got a good three years left in him and Newcastle could certainly look to sign him.

New boss Eddie Howe will be brought with the directive to keep the Toons up and will need to be backed in the transfer window to sign new players.
Given the Saudi owners’ deep pockets, Newcastle will be backed by funds of billionaires to ensure new names walk through the door at St. James’ Park next month.
This could give Everton a chance to demand a higher fee and wait to see if they can match their offer.
