It is important for Richarlison to be fit and consistently playing in the build-up to the World but not absolutely vital.

The South American has already shown Brazil what he is capable of which gives the centre forward an advantage over others.

The former Watford player earned himself star status as he led Brazil’s football team to an Olympic gold medal during the Tokyo games during the summer.

He also played a part in the Copa America winning Brazil team in 2019 and shone throughout the tournament as they just missed out to Lionel Messi’s Argentina in the 2021 final.

The World Cup is considered the world’s best tournament by many South Americans. Therefore, Richarlison will be looking to impress on the main stage in Qatar.
