Everton make enquiry to sign West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini
Everton have reportedly made an enquiry to West Ham about the availability of their attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini.
According to TEAMtalk, the Toffees are keen on signing the 28-year-old, who is also being pursued by the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Southampton.
It is understood that the Hammers are rebuffed all enquiries as they’re looking to keep the Argentina international at the club.

Despite mulling over his sale in September, they have now made their minds up to retain his services.
Steer clear
Lanzini may have it in him to score the spectacular, but he’s not someone who delivers the goods consistently.
For spells in his West Ham career, he’s gone warming the benches and enjoying just a few minutes in every other game.
David Moyes never really considered him as a regular option, but this season, due to Nikola Vlasic and Said Benrahma not hitting top form, he’s compelled to play the South American in their stead.
Everton do need attackers, but they’re looking for proven goal scorers who can wreak havoc in the final third.

The “superb” 28-year-old who was likened to Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric by Slaven Bilic in 2015, has clearly not reached the levels the Croatian thought he would.
If we were on the committee to decide the ins and outs at Everton, this would be a signing that we would veto.
