Hotshot striker, PL legend and pacey full-back – three Jan signings for Everton
With the January transfer window opening tomorrow, here are three signings that Everton should consider to make a fresh start in 2022.
Manager Rafa Benítez could have more of a say on transfers following the departure of Marcel Brands earlier this month.
On New Year’s Eve, we compile a list of three signings to take the Toffees to the next level.

Patrik Schick
With star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin set to be eased back in following a lengthy spell out injured, reinforcements up top certainly wouldn’t go amiss for Everton.
90min has reported recently that the Bayer Leverkusen forward could be an option for the Toffees after an impressive scouting mission saw them ramp up their interest in the Czech.
Schick has scored a sensational 16 goals in 14 matches this season and provided three assists to boot.
Following reports that Calvert-Lewin may be brought back sooner than expected, the addition of a new striker would certainly be welcomed by Everton supporters.
Although Schick’s quality means he may expect a starting spot in most matches, this would certainly be a statement signing for the Toffees.
Aaron Ramsey

Eurosport’s Dean Jones reported that Aaron Ramsey could be on his way to Merseyside this January as Juventus look to “offload their fringe players”.
The former Arsenal midfielder has struggled for fitness this campaign, watching his team slump to mid-table mediocrity before a December resurgence.
With André Gomes sidelined for the Toffees, additions in midfield would certainly be a great option.
However, the Welshman is 31 and is prone to injury himself. Everton’s key midfielders Doucoure and Allan are 28 and 30 respectively.
Nevertheless, Ramsey’s experience of the Premier League could still prove very useful for Rafa’s side.
Fabien Centonze

As club captain Séamus Coleman begins to slowly age out, future-proofing will be a vital step for Benítez.
Metz full-back Fabien Centonze, 25, is reported by The Athletic’s Patrick Boyland to be an option for the Toffees. With interest in Scottish defenders Calvin Ramsay and Nathan Patterson appearing to take priority, the French defender could be a more experienced shout.
Centonze’s pace has allowed him to an integral part of Metz’s set-up this season and has impressed despite the club’s relegation threat.
The ex-Lens full-back could add an extra option for Benítez as Coleman begins to slow down physically. Also deputising as a right winger on occasion, Centonze has also contributed four goals and an assist for his club this campaign.
Although Patterson and Ramsay seem more heavily linked, Centonze at 25 has more first-team experience in top-flight European football and his ability in front of goal would add yet another goalscoring option for the Toffees.
In other Everton news, a 30 y/o striker agrees to leave the club this winter.
