View: Everton transfer disaster in the shape of Cenk Tosun
Turkey international, Cenk Tosun, is set to leave Everton for Besiktas in the January transfer window as per, Sabah.
The 30-year-old’s confidence was seemingly destroyed after failing to hit the ground running in the Premier League, having only 17 goal involvements in 59 games during his time in England.
Tosun was one of Sam Allardyce’s gambles with the huge kitty he was given as Everton manager.

It is safe to say he is a typical Allardyce centre forward, one that has struggled to impress the more expansive managers Everton have had since big Sam’s departure – being loaned out to Crystal Palace and new club Besiktas.
Like many others Tosun has been the beneficiary of a long term, high paying contract whilst completely failing to live up to expectation on Merseyside – an absolute farce in terms of the financial structure of the club.
About time
It isn’t Tosun’s fault or any of the other rotting players Everton have had to suffer throughout the years, it is those in charge.
The truth is, he was never a player of Everton’s quality and ambition. He was signed at a time when Everton would do anything to stay in the League and was surprisingly not moved on sooner.

With FFP concerns continuously growing for the Blues, this allows them to save a huge fee on wages with the only negative of his departure being the powerful striker leaving on a free transfer.
This frees up more money for players that deserve it and room in the squad for potential signings, not to mention a healthier dressing room balance with one more deadweight player out of the way.
The youth prospects at Everton will be delighted with his departure as it is one less senior pro that stands in their way.
With that being said he didn’t even feature in Everton’s draw with Chelsea when the Toffees were without a staggering 12 first team players.
Tosun’s effort could never be doubted when in blue so good luck to him with his future endeavours.
In other Toffees news, Everton talks with Dobbin resume, but deal still far from done – report.
