Everton player ratings v Brighton
Everton lost 3-2 against Brighton in the Premier League clash on Sunday at Goodison Park.
The Toffees conceded two goals at the break, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed a golden chance to get his side back in the game after he missed a penalty.
Alexis Mac Allister scored a brace, while Dan Burn added another to seal all three points for the visitors.

Although the home side improved a bit in the second half, there were plenty of poor individual performances.
Here, Goodison News has rated the players out of 10 for their performances against Brighton.
Jordan Pickford – 6
Arguably the most frustrated man on the pitch. He was not at fault for the goals, but the defence has left him down.
Seamus Coleman – 3
Played as a left-back with Lucas Digne on the bench. Uncomfortable throughout the game and didn’t make any impact. When shifted to right, looked decent at best.
Jonjoe Kenny – 5
Shambolic defending in the first half. Picked up a booking, and played out so many missed passes. In the second half, delivery a brilliant pass for Gordon for Everton’s second goal.
Mason Holgate – 5
Made a brilliant interception in the second half but caught out a few times.
Michael Keane – 3
Horrible defending in the build-up to the second goal. Lost his marker, and was sloppy throughout.
Ben Godfrey – 5
Covered grounds with pace in an otherwise very average performance from him.
Allan – 3
Failed to impose his authority in the middle of the park, with the two-man midfield clearly not working.
Abdoulaye Doucoure – 6
Improved in the second half, and joined the attack more frequently. However, that trademark drive from him was missing.

Demarai Gray – 7
Superb. He was brilliant from the left and was arguably the most creative player for the Toffees. Had an attempt on goal in the second half.
Anthony Gordon – 9
MOTM. He was everywhere. Gave his everything on the pitch. Scored the opening goal for the Toffees, although it took a deflection. The second goal was brilliant.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 5
Rusty. Missed a penalty in the first half, but made some intelligent movement.
Substitutions
Salomon Rondon – 6
Delivered a good pass to Gordon. Attempted a hollywood volley inside the box, and skied over the bar.
