Everton likely to announce signing of Rangers defender Nathan Patterson on Tuesday
Everton will reportedly announce the signing of Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson by Tuesday (January 4) at the earliest.
According to the Daily Record, he’s already on Merseyside to undergo his medical and finalise his transfer.
After Vitaliy Mykolenko, the 20-year-old will become the Toffees’ second signing of the January window.

Good move
There were calls to find an upgrade on Seamus Coleman back in the summer itself so this signing was a long time coming.
The club were linked with a move for Denzel Dumfries before and after his incredible Euro 2020 performances.
He ended up moving to Inter Milan and due to Everton’s limited transfer budget, they ended the window without signing one.
However, now they seem to have got their man and will sign a player not just for the short term, but for the longer term as well.
If his progress goes as many expect it to, then he should be the club’s first-choice right-back for the better part of next decade.

Another wide attacker is probably what Everton need and Rafa Benitez will not have any excuses than to not finish in the top 10.
Hopefully, Patterson’s signing is done in good time so that he will be available for their next game which is an FA Cup clash against Hull City on January 8.
