Nathan Patterson will sign Everton contract this week before major transfer – Fabrizio Romano
Rangers defender Nathan Patterson is set to sign his contract this week ahead of completing his move to Everton.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has shared that the medical will also take place imminently at Goodison Park.
Romano insisted that once those two developments are complete, the deal will be announced

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano has shared the latest on Patterson ahead of the expected switch.
“Deal set to be completed for Nathan Patterson to Everton, permanent move,” he wrote. “Understand medical and contract signing are expected this week, then it will be announced.
“Correct fee Rangers will receive is £12m (and not Euros) plus bonuses. It’s gonna be club-record fee.”
Imminent.
With those two developments all-but-set, it looks as though the announcement for this one is imminent.
Patterson will solve a major issue at right-back, with Seamus Coleman and Jonjoe Kenny both enduring shocking form this season.
That lack of competition has seen that role become stale in recent years, but a youthful international sensation coming through the door is brilliant to see.
Rafa Benitez will be desperate for more signings, with his issues not stopping at each full-back with Patterson and Vitaliy Mykolenko coming in this week.
It certainly signals a positive start to the window though, but it may take Lucas Digne being sold before any more money is spent with FFP rules tight.
Patterson is the perfect second signing, though – long may this type of business continue at Goodison Park.
