Jim White shares what close source told him about Everton transfer for Nathan Patterson
Jim White has shared what a close source has told him about Everton and their move for Rangers defender Nathan Patterson.
The Sky Sports and talkSPORT host has admitted that the deal “will be done” as we enter critical stages of the negotiations.
The young defender is set to arrive for £16million including add-ons and clauses, as he follows Vitaliy Mykolenko into the club this month.

Writing on his personal Twitter account in the past 24 hours, White shared what his close source has told him about the deal.
“Deal for Nathan Patterson from Rangers FC to Everton said to be worth £16million,” he wrote.
“Source close to deal says it will be done.”
Two down, more to come?
With Patterson and Mykolenko through the door, it has been a brilliant first week of the window for Rafa Benitez.
The Spaniard has addressed two real problem areas within his squad and now has two younger players who have years on their side.
Financial Fair Play rules are really tight at the club though, and it now looks as though players will need to start going the other way for any more business to happen.
Lucas Digne is the first name to pop up, and the Frenchman could fetch almost as much as it took to make these two signings, which would be perfect.
With Patterson said to have travelled to Merseyside and completed his medical in the past 24 hours, it shouldn’t be long until this one is announced.
