Nathan Patterson arrives at Finch Farm ahead of confirming Everton transfer

Rangers defender Nathan Patterson has arrived at Finch Farm ahead of confirming his major move to Everton.

The Liverpool Echo has shared the news with the young-right back checking into the training ground for his checks.

Patterson is set to become the second Everton signing of the January window already, following Vitaliy Mykolenko through the doors.

With the medical checks underway, it looks as though Patterson could be an official Everton player before the end of the day.

The announcement is coming and Rafa Benitez is being backed heavily by Farhad Moshiri compared to the summer.

Seamus Coleman has struggled all season and the veteran skipper finally has someone who will push him along.

Here we go.

Fabrizio Romano shared this morning that the medical is one of the final stages before this deal is finally announced.

Along with that, the final paperwork needs signing and then it will be made official – which is brilliant news to see the Toffees doing their business swiftly.

With Patterson finally, in the building, it looks as though nothing can stop the young Scot from becoming our second signing.

Then it will give him all week to get training and force himself into contention to start against Hull City alongside Mykolenko in the FA Cup.

It is brilliant to see these young stars with huge futures ahead of them being brought into the club after years of experienced big-names coming and leaving only a matter of months later.

Good luck, Nathan.
