View: What does Patterson’s arrival mean for Coleman and Kenny at Everton?
Nathan Patterson is set to make the move to Everton this week according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
The 20-year-old is on his way to the Premier League following a lack of game time in Scotland with Rangers.
At this stage of his career, it is important Patterson is playing and receiving the proper guidance and training, something readily available to youngsters at Finch Farm.

It is still unknown where Glaswegian will fit into the fold under Rafa Benitez. He is for sure a long-term investment but has enough ability to make an impact this season, something the Blues are desperate for.
How does this impact the Everton team?
Jonjoe Kenny and Seamus Coleman are the two players who find themselves in the same position as Patterson, right back, and his arrival could have a devastating impact.
Coming to the end of his career, Coleman will not be phased at all. He has already seen his game time vary, something unheard of during his time at Everton.
Coleman will be happy to guide Patterson and pass down his knowledge to the future of the Toffees.

It could see his game time reduced even more as there are now three players all competing for the same position, but the Irishman is well aware of his situation at the club.
However, it does bring huge issues for Kenny. At 24 years of age, he has struggled to make a proper breakthrough into the Blues first team, a clear sign that he isn’t up to their standard.
If Patterson comes in and moves ahead of the scouser then that could be it for Kenny’s first team hopes and may have to settle as a backup at Goodison- with a permanent exit also possible this month.
That would be a huge waste of talent for the Kirkdale lad who should look to move on for consistent game time should that happen.
It will be interesting to see how things unfold at Goodison Park as the team look to be entering a new era, one Patterson is expected to play a huge part in.
