View: Everton should push for signing of Dejan Kulusevksi

Everton should push to sign Dejan Kulusevski after it was claimed Juventus are willing to sell him in order to fund their own transfers this January.

The Italian side are keen to add Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca to their squad this winter, but have been told he won’t be allowed to leave for less than £25million.

That means they need to sell, and according to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio they are willing to ‘sacrifice’ Kulusevski with Everton willing to pounce.

Di Marzio was writing for William Hill News where he said that Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton ‘really like’ the Swedish international winger and that his sale could hold the key to Juventus signing Scamacca.

Kulusevski is a tricky winger who has a great eye for goal, and his time at Juventus hasn’t really worked out after a great season with Parma before signing.

‘Great talent’

Kulusevski is still young at only 21-years-old and has got a boat load of top flight experience after his time with Juventus.

He was with the club last season when he played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who described him as a ‘great talent‘ but he has struggled to make an impact in Turin.

With an ability to play on either wing and beat defenders with ease, Kulusevski has the raw attributes that could see him explode if given a run of regular minutes and Everton can offer that.

Currently, their options for the wide positions consist of Demarai Gray, Richarlison, Andros Townsend and Anthony Gordon so Kulusevski would fancy his chances of getting regular football and a move to England is likely to interest him.

It’s the sort of signing that the club should be looking at making if the opportunity arises, so the club should be pushing to make sure it happens.
