Everton ready move to sign ‘top target’ Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth
Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly is a “top target” for Everton this month, according to the Sunday People.
The newspaper reported via their print edition on Sunday [9 January, page 50] that West Ham and Newcastle are also keen on the 23-year-old centre-back, who’s been in impressive form at Bournemouth this season.
It is understood that Rafa Benitez wants to bolster his defence before the January transfer window closes and has been eyeing up Kelly.

It is understood that Everton are now “eyeing a move” for the former England Under-21s defender.
Promising
Kelly turned 23 in October but already has over 100 Championship appearances to his name while he’s also played a handful of times in the Premier League.
He’s worn the captain’s armband fairly regularly for Bournemouth this season as the south coast side aim to return to the Premier League and has been in very good form too.
Last month, Parker told the Daily Echo that Kelly is “a top-class central defender with massive ability”

Parker also said: “[He] still [has] loads of room for improvement. Attributes which are top quality and, of course, I wouldn’t want him going anywhere.”
Everton need to sign players in almost all positions this month.
Benitez has moved fast to sign a new right-back and left-back while efforts seem to be underway to sell Lucas Digne.
More business is likely to hinge upon selling Digne, though, due to the impact that Financial Fair Play regulations are having on the transfer business at Goodison.
In other Everton news, a major bid has been tabled for this Toffees star.
