Michael Ball reacts as Everton could sack Rafa Benitez
Michael Ball has taken to Twitter to express his reaction on Sunday morning with news floating around that Everton boss Rafa Benitez could be sacked shortly.
The Toffees lost 2-1 against Norwich City and the club owners feel that it’s high time they need to move in a fresh direction.
According to reports from The Times, the Everton board conducted an emergency meeting yesterday (15 January) and Benitez is likely to be sacked.

Ball wrote on Twitter: “Sunday morning. Rafa Benitez (is) still in a job! Boris Johnson (is) still in a job! FFS!! Shambles – Bring on the roast!”
Shambles
Shambles, and that’s the best word to describe the present scenario.
Its beggars’ belief that how this gradual decline was allowed to continue?
The Spaniard enjoyed huge freedom which he shouldn’t have got in the first place.

While the results never improved – one league win in 13 – Benitez went on to win power struggles at the club.
On what ground was he given so much backing?
James Rodriguez was pushed out of the club. Lucas Digne was pushed out of the club. Marcel Brands was pushed out of the club.
He brought in his own people and was given the freedom to bring players of his choice.
At defeat away from home against the bottom-placed side in the league shows Rafa has lost the fans, he has lost the dressing room.
Moshiri has pumped in money but he has failed to bring in a manager of top calibre who can take the club forward.
