Everton-linked Jason Knight not keen on Derby County exit
Everton target and Derby County midfielder Jason Knight is not keen on a January transfer, according to Eurosport reporter Dean Jones.
According to a report by Football League World in December, the Toffees were among a host of Premier League clubs keen on signing the 20-year-old this month.
However, despite Derby’s financial conundrum, the midfielder is not open to an exit.

Jones told Give Me Sport, “Knight doesn’t actually want to leave Derby right now. So, even though it’s a good move for him, while Rooney’s there, I think he’s quite enjoying it.”
Summer move?
The Times reported that the 20-year-old could be available for a fee in the region of £8million this month.
However, with the Republic of Ireland international not keen on moving in January, the Toffees could negotiate with Derby and bring down his price further once the season ends.
Given how Derby are going, they’re unlikely to be in the Championship next season and the player would surely fancy the Premier League to League One.
He is believed to share a good relationship with Wayne Rooney so that could certainly play into the Toffees’ hands.

The former striker has been linked with the Goodison Park hot seat and his arrival could chance things for Knight.
Everton certainly need a midfielder this month and if Knight is the one they want, Rooney can certainly deliver that.
In other Everton news, the club has been urged to make a move for a ‘World-class’ Champions League manager who’s admired by Pep Guardiola & Jurgen Klopp
