Tottenham could cool interest in Everton keeper Pickford after new Lloris deal
Tottenham Hotspur announced on Friday that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris had signed a new deal that could see them steer clear from Everton ace Jordan Pickford.
Per the Daily Telegraph in November 2021, new Spurs manager Antonio Conte was eyeing Pickford as a possible successor for the Frenchman.
However, with Lloris now signing a two-and-a-half-year deal at the London club, they are not likely to approach the Toffees for the England number one.

Spurs are an extremely rich club with a billion-pound stadium that has been reckoned as one of the best in the world.
If they wanted they could have priced Pickford away from Goodison Park, but there seems little incentive to do that now.
Despite all of Everton’s struggles over the last few years, Pickford has been a commanding presence in goal for them.
He’s also kicked on at the international level and at Euro 2020 was one of the finest goalkeepers.
In fact, the Three Lions hadn’t conceded a single goal right until the final from open play and that was a credit to Pickford’s exploits between the sticks.
The club are looking at so many different positions to strengthen but one they do not need to worry about is their goalkeeping situation.

At 27, Pickford is still very young to be thought of replacing and he could be the club’s first choice for the better part of this decade.
He’s ideal for teams that like to build from the back and if the new Everton boss is someone who likes to play an aggressive and expansive brand of football then Pickford is certainly going to play a pivotal role in his system.
In other Everton news, the club has been urged to make a move for a ‘World-class’ Champions League manager who’s admired by Pep Guardiola & Jurgen Klopp
