Alan Myers shares major Tuesday update on Everton manager hunt
Alan Myers has shared the latest on the Everton manager hunt on Tuesday afternoon as plans accelerate at Goodison Park.
The Sky Sports journalist has reported that Vitor Pereira is set for more talks in the next two days, as well as Frank Lampard.
Myers dropped that Everton making an appointment this week is “very possible” as they look to replace Rafa Benitez.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Myers shared the latest coming from Goodison Park as the search continues.
“Everton latest: Pereira to have further discussions in next two days following initial talks with Moshiri,” he wrote.
“Lampard to discuss role this week. No Rooney contact. Martinez not possible due to Belgian FA commitment
“No appointment imminent, but this week is very possible.”
Very possible.
It is hard to look past our next manager either being Pereira or Lampard based on this latest update from Myers.
With an appointment very possible before the end of this week, someone would have to come from nowhere in order to be in the running, but stranger things have happened.
Pereira looks to be Moshiri’s choice but was persuaded to take a step back after initial talks in Monaco over the weekend looked to have made up his mind [Daily Star].
Taking a breather looks to have made no difference, though, with no real new names being linked with the role.
It would be no surprise if we enter this weekend with the announcement that Pereira has taken charge – all eyes are on this in the coming days.
