Kevin Campbell: Farhad Moshiri has to stop close relationships with agents as Everton plan fails again
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has urged Farhad Moshiri to stop playing games as Everton look for their next permanent manager.
The ex-Toffees talisman has questioned the owner and his close relationships with superagents – something that has failed him so many times in the past.
The Liverpool Echo reported that Kia Joorabchian was spotted in the Directors’ Box in the defeat against Aston Villa.

“I honestly do,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“It’s Moshiri’s money, he can do with it what he pleases, but the moment you own a football club like Everton, all of a sudden, you go down the route you believe is right.
“It doesn’t work and it hasn’t worked, then you have to really take stock of what’s going on, and maybe, you have to say this isn’t working. Over half a billion spent, and Everton are in a worst position, so it hasn’t worked.
“Maybe, all that pally, pally stuff has to go out of the window and get somebody there who is going to take charge and sort all these things out. Be the owner, be at the top, and oversee stuff, but again, it’s because there’s no plan – that’s the problem.
“They’ve brought in managers and hoped, if you’re going to buy young, energetic players, tell the fans you’re going to have a young and energetic team, fans would love that.”

Superagents have influenced decisions at Everton before, with moves for Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez helped by Moshiri’s right-hand men.
Big transfers, potentially such as the one that saw James Rodriguez arrive in Merseyside also haven’t helped given our status within the FFP rules.
If Vitor Pereira is appointed and continues that trend this week, Moshiri is in for some real trouble and there will be major questions asked.
Get it right, Farhad.
In other Everton news, Alan Myers has shared if new Farhad Moshiri cash injection helps with FFP restrictions at the club
