Alan Myers: Everton expected to make Saturday PM announcement for new manager
Alan Myers has shared that Everton will likely appoint their new manager on Saturday afternoon or evening.
The Sky Sports reporter has suggested that Farhad Moshiri will have slept on his final decision overnight before confirming the news today (29 January).
Fabrizio Romano has already reported that Frank Lampard will be the next man in charge, with confirmation the only thing left to come.

After sharing constant updates, fans were left quizzing Myers on when the announcement could finally come.
“What usually are the final niggly things to work out? Will we see a morning appointment or later in the day,” one wrote.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Myers
“I suspect later in the day,” he said.
Evening Excitement.
Well then, Toffees, it looks like it has finally come down to this.
Lampard’s name has been thrown around, and it looks as though Moshiri has finally listened to the fans on this one.
Earlier in the week, it looked as though Vitor Pereira was a shoo-in for the role, and that would have caused carnage at Goodison Park.
Having said that, it did cause carnage before any concrete developments, with fans spray painting on the walls for Lampard to come in over the Portuguese figure.
Lampard is wanted by the fans, he wants to be here, and it is looking like a match made in heaven based on these early signs.
Moshiri making this decision is a step in the right direction, but it will take a lot more work to make this work – the hard graft begins once the announcement is made.
