Don Hutchison reacts as Frank Lampard close to becoming new Everton boss
Don Hutchison has shared his reaction on Twitter after reports emerged that Frank Lampard is close to becoming the new Everton boss.
Fabrizio Romano claimed yesterday that Lampard would be appointed as the new manager after an agreement has been reached.
The Toffees have made the decision after they have consulted with Vitor Pereira and Duncan Ferguson.

Hutchison wrote on Twitter: “Best appointment Everton could have made in my opinion. Very happy”

Finally
It has been a torturous process for Everton to find their next manager after Rafa Benitez was sacked earlier this month.
According to reports from The Telegraph, the former Chelsea and Derby manager impressed in his second interview and the decision was taken after that.
While the details of the contract and termination payments are yet to be determined, there is a feeling that both parties would be able to reach an agreement.
The 43-year-old had been out of work for over a year following his sacking after 18 months at Chelsea. Considering the circumstances Everton are in, appointing Lampard looks like a smart decision.

He has previous managerial experience and knows the demands of the Premier League. He was a world-class player and would command respect from his players.
It looked like Pereira was close to landing the job after he gave an extensive broadcast interview on Wednesday.
Wayne Rooney was also considered an option, but he had turned down that opportunity to focus on saving Derby from dropping into League One.
