Everton push as Lampard wants Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek
Everton are pushing hard to get Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek’s signing over the line, per Fabrizio Romano.
The Sky Sports Italy journalist has claimed that Frank Lampard wants to get this deal done before the window closes.
Crystal Palace are also keen on signing him on loan, but are unable to pay the entirety of his wages, which is holding the deal back.
Via his personal Twitter account, Romano wrote, “Donny van de Beek saga could end soon.
“Everton are pushing in the last hours after entering in the race today – Crystal Palace still fighting to sign Donny but they’re not covering full salary.
“Frank Lampard wants the Dutch midfielder, message to the player was to clear.”

This is unbelievable news that the club have accelerated their pursuit of van de Beek.
He’s been on the radar since the summer and he would’ve been at Goodison Park had it not been for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s intervention.

Without even being appointed the manager, Lampard is already making his voice heard and has earmarked the signing of the Netherlands international.
He would be the ideal addition in a midfield that’s bereft of any movement and creativity.
Lampard likes to play in a 4-2-3-1 and he could be handed his ideal number 10 position ahead of Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan and just behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
