Everton consider loan swoop for Real Madrid ace Luka Jovic – Mike McGrath
Everton are considering a loan swoop for Real Madrid attacker Luka Jovic on deadline day, according to Mike McGrath.
The Telegraph journalist has reported that the Toffees can make foreign loan moves, despite their domestic loan quota being hit.
Jovic would follow Donny van de Beek and Frank Lampard to Goodison Park, on what is set to be a wild afternoon in Merseyside.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, McGrath shared the major update regarding the Serbian talisman.
“Everton considering Luka Jovic as a loan option from Real Madrid to strengthen Frank Lampard’s attack,” he wrote.
“Player will be allowed to leave on loan. Everton can make foreign loans but no more domestic after arrivals of El Ghazi and Van de Beek.”
Get it done.
This would be a brilliant move.
Jovic has not been the same since moving to Madrid, but he has highlighted he can do it in Germany and was a goal machine for Eintracht Frankfurt.
Lampard and Van de Beek are set to be announced at Goodison Park, but it would be brilliant if more deals can be sorted between now and 11 pm.
Farhad Moshiri will want to give his new manager all the tools he needs to succeed, and given Salomon Rondon’s struggles, another striker will be on that list.
Fans are demanding signings and results, and given the toxic atmosphere around the city this season, a huge boost is needed.
Madrid are said to be open to the move, so should the Toffees make this approach, it should be straightforward to get over the line.
Deadline day is really going into overdrive now, bring it on.
