Jack Grealish sends ‘unbelievable’ reaction to Dele Alli quitting Tottenham for Everton
Manchester City star Jack Grealish was among those paying tribute to Dele Alli after the new Everton signing bid farewell to Tottenham today.
Everton signed Alli, 25, from Spurs late on deadline day yesterday (31 January) and he’s since taken to Instagram to share a compilation video of some of his best moments in North London.
It’s a moving video for Spurs fans and someone who was taken aback by Alli’s quality was his England teammate Grealish.

In the replies to the video, posted on Alli’s Instagram account on 1 February, Serge Aurier, Jan Vertonghen and Harry Kane’s wife Kate all messaged the new Everton midfielder.
Grealish’s comment stood out as well with the ex-Aston Villa player simply saying: “Unbelievable! What a player.”

What a player, indeed
We may have not seen the best of Alli in the last couple of seasons at Tottenham but we are all in no doubt about what the midfielder is capable of.
Alli is still a relatively young midfielder at the age of 25 so he could offer us years and years of service if all goes well.
Not many 25-years-old can say they’ve played 181 times in the Premier League, played in a Champions League final, a World Cup semi-final and made 37 appearances for his country. Alli can, though.
There’s no denying that the ex-MK Dons midfielder has regressed at Tottenham but we’ve seen time and time again how a top player can flourish in a change of scenery.
We all saw it with Jesse Lingard while on loan at West Ham last season and we’re praying that we see the same impact from Alli now he’s at Goodison Park.
The fact he’s joined the Blues permanently means that he has no choice but to perform well here, it’s not like he goes back to Spurs when the season is over to try and get back into their squad.
Alli is a Toffee now and he needs to play a massive role in helping this team turn around it’s fortunes.
In other Everton news, an unexpected goalkeeper deal came out of nowhere late in the transfer window.
