Everton set to appoint Chelsea coach Ashley Cole
Chelsea coach Ashley Cole is ready to join Everton after Frank Lampard was announced as manager last week, per the Liverpool Echo.
The former Blues left-back is currently their under-16s coach, but is ready to leave his role to join his ex teammate.
After bringing in Paul Clement, Joe Edwards and Chris Jones with him, Lampard is set to make his fourth backroom staff appointment at the club.

Good move?
Managers are known to fancy working with a familiar set of men when they take over new clubs.
These coaches tend to know their philosophies and can help them implement them perfectly.
For Lampard, it will take some time to get the message across to the Everton players so Cole could be someone who takes up the responsibility to be a liaison as well as a coach.
He is widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in the history of the Premier League and much like Lampard, can inspire the dressing room.

Vitaliy Mykolenko would certainly be able to gain a lot from the former Chelsea defender and adapt to life in Great Britain quicker than normal.
He has no experience of playing in the English top flight and it certainly would have been overwhelming for him, given everything going on behind the scenes.
In other Everton news, the club made an approach to sign an English attacker before the window closes.
