Brazil and McCoist slam Alli for turning up at Everton in Rolls Royce
Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist have slammed Everton new boy, Dele Alli, for turning up at Finch Farm in a Rolls Royce.
The former Tottenham player agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal keeping him at Goodison Park until 2024 in a deal that could cost up to £40million as reported by Sky Sports.
Alli has been a controversial player throughout his career and the TalkSPORT duo weren’t sold on his most recent decision to turn up to training in emphatic style [Daily Advent].

“Maybe I’m old fashioned but he turns up in his Rolls Royce and I’m like ‘ah Dele, don’t do that’,” Brazil said on TalkSPORT.
Ally McCoist agreed, saying: “I don’t think you are wrong; I definitely agree with you, but we are a completely different generation.
He added: “I’m bursting for Dele Alli to do well.”
“The Everton fans are working-class people, I don’t know if that is sending out the right message.”
Time and place
The pair are spot on. Alli has made more headlines off the pitch than he has for his displays on the pitch in recent years.

He is a footballer that needs to knuckle down and move away from all the extravagant nonsense that seems to be distracting him from his football.
Joining a new club gives Alli a chance to reinvent himself aged 25, after falling completely out of favour at boyhood club Spurs.
However, turning up in a Rolls Royce is hardly the best way to go quietly about your business.
He is a young lad with a lot of money so it would be completely naïve to suggest he isn’t going to enjoy the finer things in life and show off from time to time but there is certainly a time and a place and turning up for the first time at your new job isn’t one of them.
He is in desperate need of guidance on and off the pitch. Hopefully Frank Lampard is the man to give him that.
