Jim White pokes fun at Frank Lampard, Simon Jordan reacts to misconceptions
Jim White has reacted to Frank Lampard’s opening comments at Everton, poking fun at his vouch to improve the club.
The talkSPORT host insisted that the minimum Lampard should do is improve what Rafa Benitez did, while also pointing out a “volatile” fan base.
Simon Jordan reacted as well, hitting back at “ridiculous” misconceptions that he was sitting on the fence regarding his view.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning, as shown live on Facebook, White kickstarted the conversation
“So, Frank going into some detail there,” he said. “He’s looked at it and thinks he can get them doing better than they were under Benitez.
“Well, that’s why he’s been brought in. But, he’s comfortable about the fact he can do it.” He went on to add: “It’s a volatile fan base at the moment.”
Simon Jordan was laughing throughout the conversation,
“I’m going to ignore that ridiculous misconception of me sitting on a fence whilst suggesting that Everton took a little bit more time to make sure they made the right decision,” he started.
“I think it is a tougher job (than Chelsea) for Frank.”

Nearly there.
So, it is only one more day until Lampard gets his Everton career underway.
White poked fun at the new manager insisting he is going to improve the Toffees, and he is right to suggest that is the only job he has been given to do.
Jordan admitted that Everton are a tougher proposition than Chelsea was for Lampard, and that is guaranteed given his ties with his former club.
This is a clean slate, and the fans are desperate for change after years of neglect, and this is something they believe Lampard can help with.
That is a lot of pressure for one man, and we just hope that it doesn’t miraculously backfire on everyone.
