Kevin Campbell: Frank Lampard to put his arm round Dele Alli to get best out of him at Everton
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has urged Frank Lampard to put his arm around Dele Alli to get the best out of him during their time together at Everton.
The ex-Toffees talisman insisted that Alli lost confidence under Jose Mourinho, and could rediscover that goalscoring touch under Lampard.
After his deadline day move to Goodison Park, the England international admitted he just wanted to enjoy his football again.

“Lost his way at Spurs,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“You see the type of player he was, he was a gamechanger from midfield, he scored great goals, he was a threat and maybe, he didn’t get the love he deserved from Mourinho.
“When Mourinho came in, he seemed to be the one who he was after straight away, he lost confidence.
“There was no better goalscoring midfielder than Lampard, and maybe he can put his arm around him and get the best out of him, I expect that and if that’s the case, he’s another player who has a lot to prove.
“Dele Alli has got to enjoy his football, if he’s enjoying his football, he’s a dangerous player and will be a real asset to Everton.”

This is a match made in heaven.
Lampard is widely-known as the best goalscoring midfielder that the Premier League has ever produced, and who wouldn’t want that as their manager?
One player who certainly will is Alli, and he will want to rediscover that form where he was full of flair and wonderful goals.
