Kevin Ratcliffe sends message ahead of Everton v Brentford
Everton will take on Brentford in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon at Goodison Park in Frank Lampard’s first game in charge.
Former player and club hero, Kevin Ratcliffe, has sent a brilliant message on Twitter showing his full support to his manager.
The results have been very poor for the Toffees, but there’s a hope that Lampard can turn it around.

Ratcliffe wrote on Twitter: “Good Luck Everton and Frank Lampard today.
“Hope it goes to plan Frank, you’ll get a tremendous welcome from the fans. COYB.”
Fresh start
Lampard will be hoping to start his new journey on a positive note.
The Goodison atmosphere has been volatile this season, with fans venting frustrations towards the board and their former manager Rafael Benitez.
A lot of work needs to be done to take Everton forward, but most importantly, Lampard must win the support of his fans. For that, results are necessary.
Lampard has been a popular choice among the fans, and Ratcliffe has hinted that the supporters will back him by creating a “tremendous” atmosphere.

A win here today (05 February) will provide a solid boost as they have a tough set of fixtures this month.
Lampard, however, will be without two of his new signings, Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli, both of them are cup-tied.
The new Everton boss will also miss the services of Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has picked up a minor injury.
