Jim White and Simon Jordan look ahead to ‘massive’ Everton clash v Newcastle
Jim White has labelled the Everton game against Newcastle on Tuesday evening as “massive” in the Premier League.
The talkSPORT host insisted that if the Toffees don’t want to be labelled relegation candidates, they simply have to win.
Simon Jordan was quizzed on the relegation picture, admitting that Newcastle only have to target Norwich, not Everton yet.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan on Monday morning (07 February), the host started the preview.
“If Everton don’t want to be dubbed as relegation battlers, there’s only one way to go about that, win tomorrow night,” he said.
“Massive game, though, massive game.”
Jordan then reacted with his view on the relegation picture, and who Newcastle could overtake in the race for survival.
They [Newcastle] only need to worry about Norwich, if they want to drag Everton into it, then great.”

Massive.
This is a huge game on many different levels.
First of all, Frank Lampard will be taking charge of his first Premier League game of his reign after that huge win in the FA Cup.
Getting off to a brilliant start is vital, and the quicker we are away from that bottom three, the better, mainly to stop all of this talk.
Newcastle away is followed by Leeds at home, two clubs around us in the table and two winnable games at that.
Win both of these games, and we will be looking at the top half of the table, never mind the bottom three.
Lampard has the squad packed with confidence, clearly, with that performance against Brentford the perfect start.
It’s time to take it to the next level.
