Jeff Stelling and Neil Mellor predict Everton clash v Newcastle
Jeff Stelling has backed Everton to leave Newcastle United with a point in their Premier League clash this evening.
The Sky Sports host has predicted that it will finish 2-2 at St James’ Park in Frank Lampard’s first league game in charge.
It starts a big week for the Toffees, who will take on Leeds at Goodison Park after the trip to the North East.

Sharing his prediction for Sky Sports’ Super 6, Stelling predicted the four-goal thriller at St James’ Park.

Sky Sports regular Neil Mellor also predicted the clash, disagreeing with Stelling and going for a 2-1 win to the home side.
Thriller.
If Saturday proved one thing, it is that Everton are finally going to be good to watch going forward in this new style.
Lampard got his midfield and attack clicking almost instantly, and that should be a real weapon against a defensively weak Newcastle side.

Although a draw wouldn’t be the worst result, picking up all three points would be brilliant, and take us more than enough away from the bottom three.
Having said that, not losing is a good scenario too, with a draw not the worst result at this stage of the current season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dele Alli and Donny Van de Beek are all in the squad, and that is a huge boost for Lampard.
It will be interesting to see if he makes changes, but one thing for sure is that the squad depth will be frightening for Newcastle to look at this evening.
Bring it on.
