Don Hutchison raves about Everton winger Anthony Gordon
Don Hutchison has showered praise on Everton winger Anthony Gordon on Twitter for his performance against Newcastle United.
The Toffees lost 3-1 at St James’ Park and the performance was below par, especially in the second half.
However, Gordon was one of the bright spots for the Toffees, and he was arguably better than any of his other teammates.

Hutchison wrote on Twitter: “Some player Anthony Gordon. Sharp.”
Horrible
Frank Lampard must have realised that the task of rebuilding won’t be easy at Everton.
He needs to get rid of so many poor players at the club in order to implement his system and philosophy.
Gordon keeps on improving, though. The youngster was getting regular chances under Rafa Benitez, and it seems he could flourish under Lampard as well.
Lampard is the kind of manager who loves to work with young players, and that’s why there’s hope that he will make Gordon an even better player.

He is only 20 and has got loads of potential. According to Whoscored, he attempted two shots on goal and made one key pass as well.
In terms of contributing defensively, he made two tackles and made one interception. Hutchison is absolutely spot on about him.
With this result, Everton have dropped to 16th in the table with only 19 points. Things are not looking bright at all.
Everton will face Leeds in their next Premier League game at Goodison Park and would want to pick up maximum points from that one.
In other Everton news, Neil Lennon was furious with an incident that involved a Newcastle player against the Toffees.
