Don Hutchison urges Everton fans not to panic after defeat v Newcastle
Frank Lampard started his Premier League reign for Everton with a 3-1 defeat against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Tuesday.
Despite going behind to a Jamaal Lascelles own goal, the hosts came back strongly and were undoubtedly the better side on the night.
Don Hutchison has urged the Everton fans not to panic and feels that a win against Leeds United will turn the tide.

He wrote on Twitter: “Deep breath Everton fans. Beat Leeds at the weekend. Things might look a bit brighter. Night gang”
Poor form
Since 25th September, Everton have picked up just one win in the Premier League. Will the nightmare spell ever end?
The Toffees are teetering on the verge of relegation, and they need to go on a run of winning games as soon as possible.
The performance was really poor against the Magpies with the midfield being overrun.

Injuries to Yerry Mina and Demarai Gray did hamper Lampard’s initial plans, but Everton lacked cohesion and ideas.
And in front of an electrifying atmosphere at St James’ Park, it looked like they had no answer to combat the threat of the Magpies.
The Toffees will face Leeds next in the Premier League at Goodison Park, and they should be aiming to secure a home win to boost their confidence.
In other Everton news, Stan Collymore says it’s the “last-chance saloon” for this Evertonian ace.
